The Skyline Gondola climbs 730m up Bob's Peak in under five minutes — one of the steepest cable car ascents in the Southern Hemisphere — to a viewing platform looking directly down over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. At the top, the Skyline Luge offers gravity-powered cart rides down purpose-built tracks, and the Stratosfare restaurant serves a buffet with what might be the best view of any restaurant in the country.
