Abel Tasman
Walk all or part of the 60km Coast Track
About This Experience
The Abel Tasman Coast Track is one of New Zealand's nine Great Walks, tracing 60km of honey-coloured sand and native bush between Mārahau and Wainui. Most visitors walk a single day-section — the Anchorage to Torrent Bay stretch or the tidal crossing near Awaroa — rather than the full three-to-five day trek, timing their walk with the tide charts posted at every hut. Swing bridges, birdsong-filled forest and a new bay every hour or two make it one of the gentlest, most rewarding walks in the country.
